Happy Birthday Morgan!

Happy Birthday to our beautiful godchild, Morgan!  We love you so much and can't WAIT to see you in a few days!
Love, Jeremy and Angie and kids!

Thanks for a great week!

Lake pictures

I wish I would have gotten a better pic of the baby loons, but this turned out pretty well, we sure startled them with the pontoon!

Can you see all the minnows?  There were thousands!

Just playing with my camera to see how the sunset would reflect off the lake.

Pontoon fun at grandma and grandpa's

I think my parents would list their pontoon very high on a "best purchases" list, is that safe to say mom and dad?  They sure have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of it and it is so great for the kids.  It's nice to let them walk around, get to sit and have a snack at the table, ect.  It's such a different feel from a boat.  However, Hans did remember yesterday that he didn't get to ride in Grandpa's fishing boat this time and was very upset!  Next time.

Happy Birthday to my Uncle Chuck, not sure if you have ever even looked at the blog, but this is a nice way to send a greeting!  Hope you have a great year.

Fun at Grandpa and Grandma's

We were able to spend the week with Grandpa and Grandma!  It was a lot of fun.  Jeremy had classes for school in DL so we stayed with my mom and dad and he drove back and forth each day.  We went to the park one morning and it was so much fun.  These kids get the biggest blast out of playing at the park, and this was a FUN one!  Last summer when we went to Branson, Missouri we asked the kids what they liked best from the trip and they all shouted the parks and the swimming!  (Cheap entertainment huh! - we better milk that while it lasts!!)

Reunion

Once again I don't have any pictures to post.  Those with kids will understand that when you have three kids you have enough with trying to keep your eyes on the kids, not to mention trying to carry a camera around and take pics too!  That's where you start to rely on Grandma's that take all the pics and send them to you.  What would we do without Grandma's?  :)  We had a great family reunion on Jeremy's side on Sat.  It was a lot of fun.  The kids got to play in the lake and meet cousins and aunts and uncles for the first time.  The highlight for Damaris was that she got to ride a horse!!  The family that hosted us has horses and they came out for rides!  Both Damaris and Hans got a ride.  The funny thing is that Damaris had just asked me earlier last week if I though she would ever get a chance to ride a horse, I guess her wish came true way quicker than I ever would have imagined!

FINALLY!!

Today was finally a sprinkler day!

Diamond Point Park

A couple of Sunday's ago we took a quick trip (between rain showers!) to a newly renovated park in town. The kids love it! The equipment is so nice and there are some fun different things that we don't have at the other parks we go to. They have this nice big climbing rock that Damaris is perched upon, a fireman's pole that Hans loves and Gracia loves it all while mom holds her breath! She's just so little, but there is not anything that she won't try and thankfully she has been kept very safe. We have an old metal school slide in our backyard, -thanks to Eden- that is about 7 ft. high and you should see Gracia scurry up and smile all the way down! I'm sure it's taken a couple of years from my life watching her go up and down. She LOVES it and I just keep praying! :)

summer fun

Hans has turned some kind of leaf this summer, in fact, just in the last week.  The first week, or almost two, of summer was pretty much miserable here as we all had a bad cold, not to mention the horrible weather.  This last week the weather has been better and the kids have been better too.  We started summer lessons last week with D and H both taking a gymnastics class once a week and soccer twice a week.  They LOVE both classes!  Damaris has been in gymnastics since she was almost three but the last year or so we took a break because of school.  She has missed it and loves being back.  This is her third summer playing soccer and loves that too, she's a scrapper!  Hans took a gym bin class once when he was three and it didn't go so well, let's just say he had a hard time listening and he was very distracted by another little boy in class, maybe he thought he was the teacher...  Anyway, he too begged to take a class all year and it just didn't work with the extra kids I was watching and schedules this school year.  It was so evident to me that now he is ready to be in those types of activities.  He did so good last week at the gym bin and at soccer, it's like he gets them now, not sure if that makes sense, but if you're a mom you probably understand.  Things that have come so naturally to D, haven't come quite so naturally to H, but now that seems to be different.  Like he's coming into his own, and he likes it!  He also took his training wheels off his bike this past weekend.  He had fought that for a long time.  D took her's off when she was 2!  Not kidding.  He LOVES that he has them off now and is just a little speedster and trickster on that bike.  The bad part is he is much more dangerous in this new phase of life...  For those of you that are actually taking the time to read all of this babble, I have one more funny Hans thing that happened tonight.  He insisted that he not wear a jammie shirt to bed tonight, he wanted no shirt, like dad!  :)  So cute.
