The kids had a small part in the Sunday service on the last day of Sunday School.  Yes, this is the whole Sunday School....

Our ECFE program holds an event in the spring where they get different vehicles to come for the kids to explore, sit in, ect.  We got there towards the end this year so I didn't get as many pictures.

Minnesota's Sesquicentennial

Did you know that Minnesota is 150 years old?  May 12th I was able to spend the day with Damaris at Kindergarten for a celebration of MN's Sesquicentennial.  It seems to me that it would be older than that, especially considering the fact that one of the presenters that day had a great grandparent that was 115!!  It was a fun day, here was the lineup for the day:

Visit the book fair - which had nothing to do with the Sesquicentennial but it was buy one get one free so it was a good time to buy some good books, I have figured out that my love for reading has to be fulfilled through reading children's books, for now anyway.

It was a fun day, I was very glad to be able to spend the whole day with her, thanks Grandma Linda for coming to watch the others!  I wish I would have taken my camera, but I didn't.

She is 30 years old and has Brown eyes and Brown hair.

Her favorite food is wiyld ris cop.

It was a sheet made up by her teacher with blanks for the answers that are in red (obviously I spelled them as she did.)  For those of you that need help reading a Kindergartner's writing, my favorite food is "wild rice soup" and I like to "iron and sew quilts."  The spelling might not be the only thing that is a little off on those two lines......  But she sure got the last one right!
